LOWNDES Co. – On Sunday afternoon, investigators with the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff’s Office culminated a nearly two month long investigation into the sale of Methamphetamine by the residents at a Bethany Drive, Hahira home.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the residence and while searching found a quantity of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, schedule 4 narcotics, a firearm stolen from Walton County, Georgia and other items commonly used for the packaging of drugs.

Three persons at the home, Jeffery Miller, Ray Creasy and Jamie Rumsey were arrested and taken to the Lowndes County Jail.

“This investigation was brought about by information from citizens in the community,” said Sheriff Chris Prine. “We need the public’s help and I am grateful for the information we receive. That partnership between law enforcement and the community is vital.”

All three persons will appear in the Lowndes County Magistrate Court this afternoon where a bond will be considered.
