Autism Society of Georgia hosts 5.164k run Saturday at Wild Adventures

VALDOSTA – The Autism Society of Georgia will host a superhero-themed run this Saturday at Wild Adventures as part of The Future is Bright campaign which is raising awareness throughout the state.

The course is a 5.164k as a reminder of the Autism prevalence rate of 1 in 64 in the state of Georgia.

Runners are invited to dress up as their favorite superheroes, but the costumes are optional. Participants will have a chance to win prizes, and superheroes will be on hand for photo opportunities.

The Autism Society of Georgia is a non-profit Georgia corporation that has supported the Georgia autism community for nearly 40 years. Their goal is to increase the capacity to serve the more than 155,000 children and adults with an autism spectrum disorder throughout all 158 counties in Georgia.
