Chris Beckham's Game Of The Week
Chris Beckham - Morning Drive - WVGAChris Beckham is the host of Friday Night Football radio program as well as the ‘The Morning Drive’ on WVGA Newstalk 105.9
Valdosta at Thomas County Central
Last year, these two teams piled up 94 points and over 1,000 yards of total offense in a 59-35 Valdosta win. This year, both defenses have improved dramatically, leading both to a 4-0 start in their respective divisions. The challenge for the Wildcat defense this week is to wrangle TCC’s electrifying quarterback Kelias Williams, who scored five touchdowns in a win over Monroe last week. TCC’s defense allowed nearly 30 points per game last year but in four wins this year, they are giving up just over 11 points per game. Valdosta quarterback Hunter Holt is the triggerman with a lot of weapons offensively.
