MOULTRIE (WCTV Eyewitness News) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Moultrie Police Department to investigate a shooting early Sunday.

According to the GBI, police responded to a 911 call around 3:24 a.m. for a complaint of loud music. While investigating that call, officers heard gunshots in the area.

Officers responded to 208 4th Street NW where calls were received about a shooting and determined that three people had been shot at that location. All three were taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

27-year-old Anthony Dale Lee died as a result of his injuries.

The other two individuals shot in the incident have been identified as 26-year-old Rakeem Martez Lyles and his brother, 29-year-old Randall Maurice Lyles.

According to the GBI, investigators determined that a group of people left a local club earlier in the evening and an altercation took place at an afterparty. Investigators are continuing to determine a motive and what events led up to the shooting.

Randall Maurice Lyles has been charged with Felony Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Rakeem Martez Lyles was released from the hospital on Sunday and taken to the Colquitt County Jail where he was booked on an outstanding probation warrant.

The GBI says additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Moultrie Police Department at 229-985-3131 or the Thomasville GBI Regional Office at 229-225-4090.
