Two injured in Madison County crash

MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV Eyewitness News) — Two people were injured in a crash in Madison County on Tuesday afternoon, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

According to FHP, around 3:25 p.m., a van was heading northbound on CR 146 and a Pontiac G5 was heading southbound. The FHP report states that the van turned in front of Pontiac, resulting in a crash.

The driver of the Pontiac, 20-year-old Jessica Mullinax, of Madison, was taken to Tallahassee Memorial with critical injuries.

The driver of the van, 54-year-old Michael Taggart, of Madison, was taken to Madison Memorial with minor injuries.

The FHP report states that both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

Charges are pending the results of the investigation.
