Lowndes students named FFA National Finalists

INDIANAPOLIS  All the proficiency and agriscience fair applicants from Lowndes County Schools to the National FFA were recently named National Finalists. 

The students earned this designation through submission of their proficiency applications and research reports for National consideration, following winning State in their respective categories.  These Finalists will compete at the National FFA Convention, October 19-22, in Indianapolis.

Charity Brown – Environmental/Natural Resource Systems, Division II

Cedric Montgomery and Zach Gay – Environmental/Natural Resource Systems, Division III

Brianna Matheny – Food Products and Processing Systems, Division II

Conway McNeil and Levi Herring – Food Products and Processing Systems, Division IV

Courtney Cameron – Plant Systems, Division II

Chance Hingson and Chandler Kudyk – Plant Systems, Division IV

Trevor Ross – Power, Structural, and Technical Systems, Division II

Frank Balmer and Jackson Sumner – Power, Structural, and Technical Systems, Division IV

Kayla Hall – Social Systems, Division II

Joseph Corbett and Levi Brown – Social Systems, Division III

Ty Parks, 7th grade at LMS was selected to attend the National FFA Convention (competition) in Agri-Science, Environmental and Natural Resources, at Indianapolis, Oct 17.  Only the top 10 in the nation are selected.
