Computing Adventures at VSU 1

VALDOSTA – Valdosta State University hosted its seventh annual Computing Adventures @ VSU June 20-24.

Twenty-two rising fifth, sixth, and seventh graders from 12 area schools attended the week-long camp designed to introduce young learners to computer science and allow them to explore advancements in technology.

The campers participated in a number of activities, including visiting the VSU Planetarium, building and programming robots using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics kits, and creating animations and games in Scratch.
