VALDOSTA – Registration is now open for the 2016 Blazer Baseball Fall Academy, which features top-notch instruction from Head Coach Greg Guilliams and the Blazer baseball coaching staff and is available for students in grades 8-12.

The VSU Fall Baseball Academy provides local players the opportunity to face off twice a week in a highly competitive setting. The Academy kicks off with a pro-style workout featuring 60-yard times, throwing/fielding evaluations, batting practice, bat speed calculation, and an information session. Players will be placed on teams, and will play two games per week for four weeks. There are two leagues for the Academy: 8th and 9th graders will play in the American League, while 10th through 12th graders will compete against one another in the National League. All players who register for the Fall Baseball Academy will be given complimentary registration in VSU’s Fall Exposure Camp in November.
