Immediately following the summer season game of VHS vs. Madison, Lisa Posas, the outgoing booster club president, began the dedication with a few words about Colton Shaw and the legacy he left at Valdosta High School.

Valdosta City School gave special thanks to all of the booster club members who worked tirelessly to ensure the memorial become a reality and to Reames Concrete Company for providing oversight of the design and the actual foundation of the memorial.

Frank Richards concluded the dedication with a heartfelt prayer.

Colton’s parents, Clay and Gwin Shaw, his sisters, Ellie Grace and Gailey along with many extended family members were on hand for the dedication. #CS3
