VALDOSTA – Tree of Life is a supplement, clothing and jewelry store that focuses on a natural lifestyle and natural healing.

Angela Cannington, owner of Tree of Life, said she personally uses natural remedies and has for over 15 years.

Due to Cannington’s allergic reactions to pharmaceutical medication, she explored the world of natural remedies. She said she first learned about her allergies from taking Ibuprofren. She would have serve joint pains and eventually hives.

The breakouts lead her to find ginger, which started her natural journey.

Tree of Life features natural supplements that are mostly soy, dairy and gluten free.

The store also provides raw local honey, celtic sea salt, apple cider vinegar, probiotics, cleansing kits, whey protein and isolate protein.

“I want people to know that there is a natural health way to go,” said Cannington. “There’s natural healing for every element out there, and if you don’t know what you need, we’ll research it for you.”

Tree of Life also offers essential oils, herbs, vitamins, healing crystals, soy candle, natural soaps and bath products, natural lotions, lip balms and educational books.

The natural soap products and scents are provided by Serene Silky Skins.

The candles in the store are produced by 1803 Candles. The candles are hand poured and made to order.

The jewelry is mostly handmade by Jessi Youman, owner of For the Love of Jewelry.

The Tree of Life is located at 3259 Suite H Inner Perimeter Road, next to Sculpt 24. The store is open Monday-Friday 10a.m. – 7p.m. and Saturday 10a.m. – 4p.m.
