VALDOSTA – On Wednesday, May 4, Amanda Lucas’ Kindergarten class from St. John’s the Evangelist School donated nearly 200 DVD’s to the Pediatric floor at South Georgia Medical Center.

Each grade at St. John’s the Evangelist School is tasked with a community service project.  Mrs. Lucas’ class chose to help local children as their community service project.

“Giving back to our community is such a fulfillment and we are excited to hopefully bring some joy to children when they are not feeling well and in the hospital,” said Amanda Lucas.
