Hundreds Vote Early in Lowndes County

| May 4, 2016

LOWNDES Co. – Early voters in Lowndes County are making their way to the polls before the Primary on May 24.

Over 300 ballots were cast on Monday.

Voters are deciding on Federal and County Offices.

Lowndes County Supervisor of Elections Deb Cox says it’s better to get in now than to wait until the last day.

The Elections Office says they have dramatically extended their hours this year.

For the next three weeks, they are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. They will also be open for two Saturdays and one Sunday.
