Country’s Sweetheart Kelsea Ballerini Performs at Wild Adventures Saturday

Moms celebrated and Passholders get to Bring-A-Friend free Sunday

VALDOSTA – Wild Adventures Theme Park will have “Dibs” on Country music’s newest sweetheart when Kelsea Ballerini takes the big stage Saturday night.

The young star’s meteoric rise all began when her mom bought her some studio time to record songs she had written, just so she could keep them. Leave it to a mom to be the first to spot talent in her kid. And, what a talent she’s turn out to be.

Kelsea, who just won the American Country Countdown’s Breakthrough Female Artist of the Year, launched to country music stardom in 2015 with the release of her No.1, gold-selling debut song “Love Me Like You Mean It.”

She is the first solo female artist in nine years to hit No. 1 with her debut country single and one of only 11 women to have ever hit the top of the charts with a debut. Kelsea has been touted by Billboard Magazine as “Country’s Next Queen,” praised by Rolling Stone as one of the Ten Artists You Need To Know from all genres and selected as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country. Her success continues in 2016 with the release of “Dibs” and “Peter Pan.” Reserved seats open at 7 PM and the music begins at 8 PM.

The weekend fun continues on Sunday as Wild Adventures celebrates Moms on their special day and Season Passholders get to “Bring a Friend” for free. Admission to see Kelsea Ballerini and the rest of the All-Star Concert Series is included with a Wild Adventures Season Pass, available at savings up to $12-off through May 29.

Season Passes also include unlimited admission to Splash Island Waterpark, the new Dinosaur Explore exhibition as well as the just announced “Harlem Globetrotter Experience” on May 28 and 29. For more information, a complete concert lineup or to get your season passes, visit or call 229-219-7080.
