Body of Missing Man Found Near Ochlockonee River

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Deputies with the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office say the body of the man reported missing was found near the Ochlockonee River and Lower Meigs Road.

The man has been identified by authorities as Grady Rawls Godbee, 62.

Authorities say Godbee was reported missing by a friend on Friday.

The case and the cause of death are currently under investigation by the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office, reports WCTV.

    I am so sorry to hear the news about Rawls. I was a grade or two ahead of him at Moultrie High, but I remember him well. My heart goes out to his family.
