Armed robber strikes Cordele Pizza Hut

CORDELE – Cordele police are searching for a suspect who robbed a restaurant at gunpoint Thursday night.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., the Cordele Police Department responded to the Pizza Hut at 1510 16th Avenue after receiving a report that a black male with a handgun had conducted a robbery.

The suspect was 6’4″ to 6’6″, dressed in all black and wearing a bandanna and gloves, according to police reports.

Nobody was injured, and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
