Wiley homers twice in Valwood loss to Madison County

HAHIRA – The Valwood baseball team dropped a closely contested game Monday night at Browning Field, as visiting Madison County (Fla.) won 8-7 after plating two seventh-inning runs to overcome a deficit the team had held since the fourth inning.

 

Maysoe Wiley finished the game 2-for-4 with five RBIs, while JM McRae also added two hits. Trent Viche and Tyler Richards also knocked in one run apiece.

The Valiants (4-4, 3-0 GISA Region 3-3A) will be back in action Tuesday at home versus Westwood.
