VALDOSTA – Scruggs Concrete Company has been granted the title “Leading Business of the Week” by Chamber Ambassadors. A member of the Chamber since 1982, Scruggs Concrete Company has been a great asset to the Valdosta-Lowndes community.

Scruggs Concrete Company opened its first plant in the Valdosta area over 50 years ago. This business has now grown to 12 plants and over 100 employees throughout South Georgia and North Florida. “We take pride in furnishing material to projects at MAFB, VSU, industrial and commercial sites, local businesses and home sites,” said Rusty Ingram, President of Scruggs Concrete Company.

This commercial company has a lot to pride itself on as it takes on large projects and works to provide the materials that make up the foundations of our local communities.

Ingram acknowledged the positive effects that Scruggs Concrete has felt from their Chamber membership.  “The Chamber has created new business growth commercially and industrially which helps our business,” said Ingram.
