MSIS donates K9 first aid kit to Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office

VALDOSTA – Thursday morning, Kim Wayne presented Sheriff Chris Prine with a specialized first aid kit for the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office canine unit.

The kit contains items specifically intended for the care and treatment of the canine in cases of emergency or injury.

This kit was purchased with funds donated by the employee’s at M.S.I.S., a local business.

“We are honored to receive this donation from our community partner,” said Sheriff Prine.

“The canine unit is a valuable part of the Sheriff’s Office team providing deputy protection, narcotic detection and tracking. This gift is greatly appreciated to help assure the continued health and safety of our team members,” said Capt. Stryde Jones.
