GBI makes arrest in Moultrie shooting

MOULTRIE – On Monday,  the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Thomasville Police Department arrested Darryl Dana Thomas Jr., 24, for the February shooting of Darian Williams, 25.

Thomas was located at an apartment complex on Warner Street in Thomasville, GA. Thomas is charged with Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Assault after shooting Williams multiple times. The incident occurred on February 16, 2016 in Moultrie.

The investigation determined that Thomas committed the crime in response to Ryshaun Montay Bigelow being shot and killed on the same day in February. Darian Williams is still hospitalized.

Donterrius Williams, brother of Darian Williams, was charged with Bigelow’s murder on February 17, 2016 and is still being held at the Colquitt County Jail.
