S.L. Mason student is Principal for a Day

VALDOSTA – A fifth grader from S.L. Mason Elementary won the opportunity to be principal of the school for the day.

Jake Tillman won a drawing at the S.L. Mason Fall Carnival. By winning, he had the chance to be principal for the day.  He was the acting principal on Friday, December 18, 2016.  Jake spent the day shadowing Mr. Kevin Daw and learning what it takes to oversee a school with over 900 students.
