Mayor: DOT funds coming for Valdosta traffic projects

VALDOSTA – Valdosta Mayor John Gayle is optimistic that more funds from the state will help local officials with road construction projects during the next year, including projects in the Five Points Area, Jerry Jones and Country Club intersection and East Park Avenue. Gayle said he believes the projects will help alleviate traffic congestion at some of the busiest parts of town. He talked details during a visit to The Morning Drive with Chris Beckham.
