MAFB engages in active shooter exercise (VIDEO)

VALDOSTA – Last week, Moody Air Force Base personnel conducted an active shooter training exercise. U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Timothy Hartman, 23d Security Forces Squadron kennel master, used a backpack with a propane tank connected to an AK-47 assault rifle in order to simulate the shooting without firing real bullets. MAFB has released video footage of the Jan. 21 exercise:
