ADEL – A suspect Adel police have been searching for in connection with a convenience store robbery turned himself in Wednesday.

Donte Glauvitz, 28, was charged with aggravated assault and two counts of cruelty to the elderly for the Jan. 6 robbery of the Holiday Market on South Hutchinson Avenue.

The owners of the store, a husband and wife, were the only people inside the store at the time of the incident. Glauvitz allegedly took an undisclosed amount of money from the store at gunpoint.

The Adel Police Department executed a search warrant at his residence on Tuesday but were unable to locate him.

Glauvitz reportedly turned himself in to authorities Wednesday afternoon, reports WALB.
