Scintilla Students working to support Community

| December 3, 2015

VALDOSTA — Students at the Scintilla Charter Academy are learning more than just the basics.  They are learning how to serve their community.

As part of a Black Crow Media (parent firm for Valdosta Today) fundraiser for Hungry at Home, these Scintilla students decided to do their part, too.  By making bracelets and selling them at their Fall Festival, the students were able to raise and donate over $240 for this worth cause.

Pictured above is Ms. Young’s 4th Grade Class who raised the money.
