VALDOSTA — Two suspects are in custody after an early-morning burglary in a Valdosta home.

The Valdosta Police Department has arrested Demarcus Jackson, 18, and Elijah Davis, 18, on burglary charges.  They are at the Lowndes County Jail.

A 911 call made by a woman stated she first heard several males in her yard, and later heard someone trying to enter her home at the 200 block of East Alden Avenue.

Staying on the phone with the 911 operator, she noted she believed people had entered her home.

While that was occurring, a roommate returned home, and upon seeing people flee the house, followed them in their vehicle, which was also reported to 911.

Valdosta Police saw the suspects’ vehicle, pulled it over, and discovered a stolen game console taken from the victim’s home.

Reports state the victim knew the suspects.
