Victim Stabbed in Albany Park

ALBANY — A man was stabbed over the weekend as he walked through an Albany park.

Montavious Simon, 20 of Albany, was stabbed Saturday as he walked through the playground at the Bill Miller Recreation Center in Albany.

Reports from WALB state Simon was walking through the park at night when he was attacked by 3 men and stabbed.

The injuries were not life-threatening and he was treated at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for his injuries.

Albany Police are investigating the incident.
