VALDOSTA — If you hear explosions during the day Tuesday, don’t fear.  It’s only Moody Air Force base and planned detonations.

The base will be conducting a routine reduction in unexploded munitions at the Grand Bay Bombing Range, handled by the 23rd Civil Engineer Squadron’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight.

The detonations will occur between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Tuesday.  Expect significant reverberation causing rattled windows throughout the area.
