Three Indicted in Albany Murder Case

ALBANY — The shooting death of an Albany man over the summer has resulted in the indictment of three men.

Mylan Mahoney, Malcolm Offord, and Jamie Washington were indicted on nine counts of murder and aggravated assault.

The shooting occurred on West Highland Avenue in Albany.  James Hawkins, the victim, was found dead behind a hotel on July 5th of this year.

Washington was arrested in New York, where he was the victim of a shooting himself.  Mahoney and Offord will await the extradition of Washington in Albany.
