ATLANTA — An instructor at a Gwinnett County Middle School has been arrested, charged with sexual assault and sexual battery of a student.

buckland_1The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting James Everette Buckland, the Junior Leadership Corps instructor at Summerour Middle School in Norcross, was arrested Wednesday and is being held on a $5,000 bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.

According to the report, the arrest warrant accuses Buckland of making physical contact of a sexual nature with a student while he was acting as an instructor.  The incident was reported to have occurred  on September 15.
