Brutal Kidnapping, Battery & Robbery case Reported in Tallahassee

| October 28, 2015

TALLAHASSEE– A Tallahassee man is facing multiple felony charges, including sexual battery with a firearm, kidnapping, and robbery with a firearm.

Jermichael Lindsey, 31,  was arrested after police matched his DNA to the crime, which took place back in August.

Court documents say the female victim, 23, was outside her Baldwin Park Drive, Tallahassee apartment shortly after midnight on August 6th when Lindsey allegedly grabbed her from behind.

Court documents say he had a gun and told the victim, “Shut up, I will kill you right now.”

He allegedly forced her into the trunk of a sedan, then took her to an abandoned home on Tropicaire Street.

Police say that’s where he raped her, twice.

While in the home, Lindsey told her, “I got paid to do this…I have been watching you for a while.”

The documents go on to say that Lindsey received a phone call and told the victim, “We grabbed the wrong girl,” and “he is not getting his money back.”

He then allegedly gave her directions to walk to a nearby store.

She was then picked up by a friend and later led police back to the home, where they conducted a search.

“We compared several pieces of evidence that was collected on scene,” Officer Rachelle Denmark with Tallahassee Police Department told WCTV. “The FDLE processed them, and we were able to make a DNA match on a piece of evidence which led us to the suspect.”

Lindsey was then placed under arrest. He denied any knowledge of the incident to police.

Lindsey has an extensive criminal record. During the last five years, he’s faced charges of sexual battery, animal cruelty and armed robbery.
