Girlfriends’ Knife Fight leads to Arrest

THOMASVILLE — An argument between the girlfriends a a Thomasville man resulted in a knife fight and ultimate arrest.

Heather Renee Folsom, 26, was arrested Tuesday for aggravated assault, according to reprots from the Thomasville Police Department.

TPD reports show that Folsom was taking her boyfriend, Adrian Diggs, to his apartment on East Pinetree Boulevard in Thomasville when Diggs’s former girlfriend, Shelly Dollar, arrived at the same time.

Reports from WTXL stated witnesses told police that Dollar had been dating Diggs and had come to the apartment unannounced.  Folsom is said to then have left the apartment and gone back to her car while the Diggs and Dollar were talking.

Dollar is reported to have left the apartment and walked to the car where Folsom and another person, not named, were waiting.  Reports state that the two women then briefly argued before Folsom pulled out a knife at attacked Dollar.

Dollar is said to have been cut several times on her face and head. Police say the witness from the car attempted to pull the women apart and was also cut.

Folsom was arrested and booked in the Thomas County Jail.
