LEESBURG — Authorities are investigating a mysterious death of a Lee County woman whose body was found Friday morning.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified the woman, Lisa Riley, 34, found dead inside a home.  According to reports by WALB, agents were still at the home on Northampton Road nearly 12 hours after the mysterious death was uncovered.

According to the report, her husband, Yathomas Riley, 32, called 911 around 8:30 a.m. Friday and said he found her dead.

Reports went on to say Lee County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, and then called the GBI to investigate.

Yathomas Riley was arrested and taken into custody on a bond revocation for a separate charge unrelated to the death investigation of his wife.

Also during the investigation Friday morning, officials brought a small child out of the house. The child was taken away from the home by DFACS officials.
