ACWORTH — Police say they have found a 12-year-old girl and arrested the woman who authorities believe kidnapped the girl on Sunday.

Multiple media outlets report that police arrested 21-year-old Quanisha Bell Monday morning, several hours after finding the girl by herself at Town Center Mall in Cobb County.

Police say the girl named Aryana Warren left her home in Acworth the night before with Bell, a family friend who told the girl’s mother they planned to walk to a local store.

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Lt. Michael Grier tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Bell will be charged with one count of kidnapping.

Just wondering why there is a picture of a white male in handcuffs when the perp is a black female?
