TALLAHASSEE — FSU coach Jimbo Fisher has seen enough.  De’Andre Johnson’s career at Florida State has come to an end.

The former First Coast High star was kicked off the Florida State football team Monday night by Fisher after the release of a video from a bar security system that showed Johnson punching a woman on June 24 in Tallahassee. He was charged with misdemeanor assault last week.

After the video was released, Johnson apologized through his attorney, Jose Baez, who stated Johnson had entered counseling for substance abuse and the abuse of women.

Johnson was a four-star quarterback out of Jacksonville who threw for 3,701 yards and 47 touchdowns as a senior last year. In FSU’s spring game, he compleed 8-of-11 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns.  He had entered FSU early in anticipation of playing for Fisher.
