Shots Fired at Valdosta Apartment

VALDOSTA — An argument resulted in shots being fired at a Valdosta apartment Monday night.

Valdosta Police report that an argument broke out between several people who knew each other, outside an apartment at 807 S. Fry Street.

Witnesses stated two or three of the people arguing later fired several shots. Another witness stated they heard two shots fired. No one was injured.

Another witness said the offenders left in a red vehicle but could provide no other information. The vehicle has not been located.

Multiple residents of the apartment complex were interviewed by police regarding the incident. Officers located two shell casings near the vicinity of where witnesses reported the shots came from. One bullet was located in a window casing of a nearby apartment. The resident of the apartment was not injured and not involved in the incident.

Officers have gathered a lot of information pointing to potential suspects and detectives will be following up on all leads on this incident. At the time of this report, it is not known if this incident has any relation to a shots fired incident at the end of last week in this general vicinity. Detectives will be investigating to see if the two are related.
