Camp Invention 2

VALDOSTA — Valdosta State University’s fourth annual Camp Invention kicked off Monday and the participating boys and girls are excited about the week ahead — a week filled with creative hands-on activities designed to increase their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Created in partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Collegiate Inventors Competition, Camp Invention targets rising first through sixth graders looking for an opportunity to employ creative thinking and teambuilding skills while developing a passion for innovation.

Contact Dr. Denise Reid, program coordinator, at (229) 333-5784 or dtreid@valdosta.edu for more information.
