Adel > Reed Arrested by Authorities

ADEL — Thursday, a coordinated effort between the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Special Operations Division, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Hahira Police Department and the South East Regional Fugitive Task Force of the United States Marshall Service led to the arrest Teavin Reed.

Reed was being sought for arrest due to warrants alleging his commission of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in Rivera Beach, Florida. Based on a tip, law enforcement began a search for the vehicle being driven by Reed as he traveled north on I-75.

The vehicle being driven by Teavin Reed was soon located near the 37 mile marker in Cook County where a traffic stop was conducted and Reed was arrested without any incident.

Teavin Reed was taken to the Cook County Jail to be housed pending his return to Palm Beach County.
