Thomasville > Police Officer Killed in Car Wreck

THOMASVILLE — A Boston Police officer was killed in a car wreck around 6:45 a.m., this morning.

The incident took place on Highway 84 East, when 31-year-old J.C. Williams merged onto the highway he hit 32-year-old Justin Rouse on his motorcycle. Rouse was thrown from his motorcycle and into the median. Rouse died from his injuries after being taken to Archbold Memorial Hospital.

Rouse was off-duty when he was killed.

Williams did not receive any life threatening injuries.

Georgia Sate Patrol is investigating at this time and charges are pending.
