EDISON — A charter academy teacher was released on bond from jail after being arrested on Tuesday for indecent contact with┬ástudents.

Clayton Downing, former Pataula Charter Academy teacher was arrested and charged with one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes and two counts of obscene telephone contact.

The Edison Police department reported that multiple victims are involved in this case. The police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating the case at this time.

Downing was fired on May 2nd from the school.

    This is all bull crap. He was set up. He did not do this because he is not stupid. Isn’t it a little catchy he just got a promotion as assistant principal? Somebody probably got mad, set him up, and RUINED HIS LIFE. He has been at PCA since 2012 he wouldn’t just risk his promotion to send a student a picture of himself, he was smarter than that.
