ALBANY — Police officers used a stun gun to end a stand off with a Lee County man on Tuesday.

The man, 45-year-old Robert Dean led police on a car chase down Cook Road.

On Tuesday, Dean shot at a male after the male confronted him about his 5-year-old daughter being in the car. He then began a car chase with the police.

Dean’s wife grabbed the child from the vehicle when the chase ended on 521 Philema Road North.

DeanĀ stepped out of the vehicle and held a gun to his head, that is when police stunned him. Dean was taken to the hospital for evaluation and then taken to Lee County Jail.
