ALBANY — An Albany Technical College employee was arrested for stealing money from the school.

Taijuanna Johnson was arrested and charged with 17 counts of theft by conversion. Johnson stole thousands of dollars in cash and money orders from the Albany Tech’s forklift program.

Johnson worked for the program and left in February when Albany State University Police began an investigation.

She is being held at the Dougherty County Jail with no bond.
