Albany > Albany Man Faces Multiple Charges

ALBANY — Albany man, Kontravious Nelson has been arrested and faces charges of contempt of court, probation violation, and criminal damage to property.

On August 13, 2014 Nelson attacked a woman after an argument on the 600 block of Parkwood Avenue.

On August 26, 2014 Nelson robbed 52-year-old Ulysses Ellis at gunpoint, after hitting him in the head with a bottle. Nelson and two others knocked on Ellis’ front door before hitting and robbing him. Ellis and the police chased Nelson down until the robbers wrecked their vehicle.

In November 2014 Nelson was arrested for another home invasion.

On top of his other three charges Nelson is being held on charges of terroristic threats.

Nelson was considered to be one of Albany’s most wanted.
