VALDOSTA —  Families make up the heart of Wild Adventures. Saturday offers something for every member of the family as the park unveils a new children’s play area and hosts a concert featuring Thousand Foot Krutch and Flyleaf.

Wild Adventures smallest guests can bring their parents and explore the new Little Critters Play Zone that features fun challenges inspired by the animals of Wild Adventures. Kids can see how their own wing span measures up to the actual wing span of their favorite birds and compare their paw size to the paws of different animals. A mesmerizing zebra collage is filled with hidden challenges and kids can test their meerkat skills as they balance, borrow and climb. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned at 10:30 AM followed by open play

At 6:30 PM, the music begins in the All-Star Amphitheater as award-winning rock band, Thousand Foot Krutch, brings a high energy, raw rock sound to the stage including fan favorite “The End is Where We Begin” and “ Untraveled Road”. The double header continues with Flyleaf, the platinum selling rock band with hits like “I’m So Sick” and “All Around Me.” Reserved seats are available for advance purchase with specially discounted pricing for Gold Season Passholders.

Entrance into Splash Island Water Park and the 2015 concerts are all included with park admission or a Season Pass. Season Passes are currently available at discounts up to $15 off the normal price through next week. For more information on what’s happening at Wild Adventures and Splash Island this season or to get your season passes, visit WildAdventures.com or call 229-219-7080.
