THOMASVILLE — A Thomasville home was consumed by a fire on Wednesday morning.

The fire occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Wright Street.

Thomas was able to get the Browns out of their home and to safety. Unfortunately, Albert Brown’s pants caught on fire and he received third degree burns. He was immediately flown to Augusta Burn Center for treatment.

Lillie Mae Brown did not receive any injuries from the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
