ALBANY — A woman was stabbed in a car after falling asleep in it around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.

A 32-year-old woman fell asleep in the front seat of a car on the 900 block of West Residence Avenue when she was attacked.

Albany police reported that she was under the influence of alcohol and was stabbed twice, once in her left leg and once in her side.

The victim’s condition and name has yet to be released.
