ALBANY — Yesterday, March 31, five people were sent to the hospital after one man ran into two cars near the entrance ramp at North Slappey Boulevard.

One of the drivers, Edgar David Hernandez passed out at the wheel, causing him to cross over the median and into the south shoulder of the road.

Brian Brock was driving onto the entrance ramp when Hernandez’ vehicle struck his Chevy pick-up.

Hernandez’ car then entered onto North Slappey, hitting Lindsay Wager’s Ford Explorer in the process.

Inside of Wager’s car were two passengers, Megan and Gabriel Owens.

Hernandez was charged with failure to maintain lane and driving the wrong way.

None of the five people involved in the wreck suffered life-threatening injuries.
