TUCKER — A drug deal ends with a dead Gwinnett teen and another behind bars.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting Omar Ezzikouri, 18 of Gwinnett County, has been arrested and charged with felony murder and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

Jessica Moreno, 18, was shot by Ezzikouri as the two were involved in distributing a controlled substance, Xanax.

The shooting occurred about 8:30 Saturday evening in the 900 block of Arlington Drive near Tucker where Ezzikouri lived.  Moreno was the girlfriend of Ezzikouri.

Officers arrived at Moreno’s home to find her with a gunshot wound.  She was taken to a local hospital where she later died.

Detectives searched the home and found evidence to charge Ezzikouri and interview him at the Gwinnett County Jail.  He is being held without bond.
