JACKSONVILLE — A late night accident involving a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Butler Blvd. claims two lives over the weekend.

James Michael Bibb, 27 of Snellville, near Atlanta, drove his vehicle onto the wrong lane of JT Butler Blvd, a divided expressway, and struck another vehicle head on, killing Bibb and another driver.

The accident occurred about 11:40 pm Sunday night in Jacksonville.  Bibb’s vehicle struck another vehicle driven by Dennis Edward Philip, 50, killing him, according to a report in the Florida Times Union.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
