Valdosta > Five Juveniles Charged With Burglary

VALDOSTA — On Jan. 26, the Valdosta Police Department received reports of a burglary around 5:25 p.m. on the 2800 block of Caldwell Drive. The homeowner told police that when she arrived home she witnessed a group of kids running from her yard. The children had broken into the home and stolen an Xbox gaming system.

The VPD charged the five males, ages ranging from six to 11-years-old with burglary. The police report stated that four of the children are related.

At this time the children have been released into their parents custody by the Department of Juvenile Justice.

The Xbox was returned to the homeowner and the children are now under investigation for other local burglaries.
