VALDOSTA — On Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Goodwill Career Center will be hosting a Combat 2015 Workshop which will identify services for area veterans transitioning from active duty.

Goodwill, in partnership with AmeriCorps volunteers working at the Valdosta Career Center, will host Combat 2015, a free resource workshop for area veterans who are leaving active duty. The workshop will teach transitioning soldiers the basics to access and identify services available for personal, career and family needs. Attendees will receive workshop materials and door prizes will be available. Representatives will be on-hand from Wounded Warriors, Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and the Air Readiness Family Center (AFRC), as well as employers such as Walmart and Sam’s Club.
